Sorry if this has been posted before, I couldn’t figure out how to see the
archives. [1]

I followed the instructions at http://umls-similarity.sourceforge.net/ to
instal UMLS::Interface and UMLS::Similarity, and the install processes said
everything went okay, but when I try to run umls-similarity.pl I get the
following error:

$ umls-similarity.pl arm leg
Can't locate UMLS/Similarity/closeness.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /etc/perl
/usr/local/lib/perl/5.14.2 /usr/local/share/perl/5.14.2 /usr/lib/perl5

/usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at /usr/local/bin/umls-similarity.pl line 930.

I checked, and indeed, there doesn’t seem to be any closeness.pm installed with
UMLS::Similarity:

$ ls -l /usr/local/share/perl/5.14.2/UMLS/Similarity

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks,

[1] Even after joining the group, I couldn’t see the archives without creating
a Yahoo! account. I created one but then still couldn’t see the archives
because I couldn't figure out how to associate it with this email address.
After fighting with Yahoo! for a while, I gave up, deleted my account and just
posted directly to the list.
