However why was internet used; I don't recall (didn't intend anyway) using internet, though it was available. I suspect that DNS stopped working part way thru install (I added 8.8.8.8 to /etc/resolv.conf so I could file this report); no idea as to why.. BUT I didn't expect internet to be used; as my intention was normal install, no optional snap packages and no updates (I am tired; so maybe settings were made different to intention in calamares install options; but no idea why internet is flaky; tv besides this machine is happy streaming from web) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 24.10 Package: calamares 3.3.8-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 6.11.0-8.8-generic 6.11.0 Uname: Linux 6.11.0-8-generic x86_64 .etc.calamares.modules.finished.conf: --- restartNowMode: user-checked restartNowCommand: "systemctl -i reboot" .etc.calamares.modules.fstab.conf: crypttabOptions: luks,keyscript=/bin/cat efiMountOptions: umask=0077 .etc.calamares.modules.shellprocess_logs.conf: --- dontChroot: true timeout: 30 script: - calamares-logs-helper ${ROOT} .etc.calamares.modules.unpackfs.conf: --- unpack: - source: "/cdrom/casper/filesystem.squashfs" sourcefs: "squashfs" destination: "" ApportVersion: 2.30.0-0ubuntu3 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: pass CasperVersion: 1.502 CurrentDesktop: LXQt Date: Fri Oct 4 20:37:25 2024 LiveMediaBuild: Lubuntu 24.10 "Oracular Oriole" - Beta amd64 (20241003) RelatedPackageVersions: calamares-settings-ubuntu-common 1:24.10.5 calamares-settings-lubuntu 1:24.10.5 xfsprogs 6.8.0-2.2ubuntu1 btrfs-progs 6.6.3-1.2 SourcePackage: calamares UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/2083684/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-bugs Post to : ubuntustudio-bugs@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
