The problem is the same using the freebob driver, or the firewire driver. All the package about FFADO are installed. This external firewire sound card works well with Hardy LTS, Intrepid and Jaunty. My username is in the "disk" group, wich was the key to access to firewire sound cards with freebob driver on previous version than Karmic. So, is it a bug ? What is the way to configure ffado/freebob in jackd/qjackctl? Don't hesitate to ask me to test more and report.
