You have been subscribed to a public bug: A bug in the input-wacom module was causing intermittent crashes when the stylus first touched the tablet. This is documented here:
https://github.com/linuxwacom/input-wacom/issues/234 Apparently input-wacom has been released with a fix, I was told that I need to raise a bug in launchpad to get this fix propagated into an update for 20.04 (apologies if that is not the case). According to the above link, the fix has been released and accepted into the main upstream kernels (I don't know which versions exactly) - I'm unclear as to what the process is for this to go into an LTS update.. after much searching all I've read is that one should raise a bug in launchpad(!) Many thanks.. ** Affects: xf86-input-wacom (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment focal -- Crash after stylus touch on wacom tablet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1914458 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Studio Bugs, which is subscribed to xf86-input-wacom in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-bugs Post to : ubuntustudio-bugs@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
