Thanks for checking with the PPA. Indeed way too many things changed
between version 0.92.5 and 1.0! :)
Could you perhaps verify whether the version 1.0-5 as currently
available in Ubuntu groovy is affected by this bug?
Either way I'm afraid I'm not really available to track down whatever
might be causing this with 0.92, so it's unlikely to be fixed in focal
:(

Optimized svg can not be saved.
Status in inkscape package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Saving an SVG to optimized SVG fails. No other feedback available than a
prompt message stating:
"File /home/set/setto-logo-dark.svg could not be saved."
Installed scour because i remember that solved it from a previous
similar issue, but it didn't resolve this time.
Starting Inkscape from the terminal didn't give me more information.
