Due to the increased strictness in librsvg 2.48, some of the otherwise valid icons will not render, due to missing xlink namespace declarations.
This was fixed, among other things, in this commit: https://github.com/mypaint/mypaint/commit/9a1ed517c23287e081ede942ab15bac8c61914eb Only the part of the patch that updates the icon svg's is necessary to resolve this.
