Good afternoon,
Yesterday i decided to install Ubuntu Gnome on my laptop (that was running
Ubuntu 13.04)

*SYSTEM INFO:*
This laptop has a UEFI Bios also a SSD drive AND a regular hard drive.
/dev/sda <-- Regular drive
    /dev/sda1 /home
/dev/sdb <--SSD
    /dev/sdb1/ /

Bios boot priority are set:
1) USB HDD
2) My SSD drive

*STEPS:*
during my first install choose to install my grub boot loader to /dev/sdb/
and proceeded to do a offline install

*ISSUE:*
Once the system rebooted i received grub errors i believe the exact
message was it could not find boot media /boot/grub

I then attempted a second fresh install and chose /dev/sdb1 instead.. still
received the the same issue.

*My Fix:*
I used the live cd and went though the steps to add and install the PPA for
the Boot-Repair tool.
I pointed it to both SDB and SDB1 (just to make sure). it did the usual
grub install and boot detection.
then when i rebooted i was back into grub and was able to boot into Ubuntu
Gnome.

*Additional Notes:*
Tested optimus hardware with bumblebee using proprietary Nvidia drivers.
everything works great but glxspheres & virtualgl packages seems to be
missing from the repository (was in Ubuntu 13.04)

Thanks!
