New question #79349 on Ubuntu: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/79349
Hi there I have a problem with network manager. I usually like to remote into may machine when I leave it on, but logged out. Previously I would have used the serial monkey driver, so when the computer booted, by the time it hit the log on prompt the network was initialized and started. So I could remote in. With network manager now, it does not bring up the network unless I log right in. This is clumsy. How can I get network manager to start up the network before i log in, so that the computer will be part of the LAN, like it did before when using the serial monkey driver. Thanks. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
