My problem is that with Nvidia GeForce 6600 graphics card and driver "nvidia", the operating system is Ubuntu 8.04, after half an hour to four hours, breaks down completely and does not respond to any of my actions! Any explicit reasons for this is not! Tried several versions of the drivers: "nvidia-glx", "nvidia-glx-new", "nvidia-glx-legacy", "EnvyNG"! Tried the driver from nvidia.com! However, when the driver "nv" operating system is not out of order!
