Question #76827 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76827
Steven Susbauer proposed the following answer: Microsoft does not root through your personal information, that said hotmail is a web hosted email service, unless you are in a position to set up your own linux email server you're probably looking for another web hosted solution. Hotmail supports POP, if you decide to use Gmail for example you can configure it to download all of your messages from your Hotmail account in order to make the transition easier. Gmail also support POP or IMAP to communicate with a desktop email client such as Evolution or Thunderbird. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
