Question #76845 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76845
Steven Susbauer proposed the following answer: The above is mostly your solution. It doesn't appear any process is using this ram, but it is not showing up as free ram. This is due to caching and is good for peformance. This memory will be given to an application if the application needs it. The "free" memory is not the only way to measure it, as it is not very smart. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
