same problem here, system freezes randomly, can't be pinged anymore, no ssh possible, needs hard reset. no entry in system logs. First problems after updating from lucid. Also a clean install didn't help. Occurs randomly, doesn't depend on any action or specific program running. Never happens when power supply is plugged in. System: FSC Lifebook S6420, Chipset Intel 45GM, Graphics Intel GMA X4500
