One other thing - when this bug happens, I can switch to another terminal (by Ctrl+Alt+F1, for example). So, I can kill a process from there. Sometimes I have to kill a Firefox, sometimes - a video player. After that I get a working system with no screen corruptions. Until the next time, unfortunately.
