I can confirm the same issue. The problem manifested after an upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10 (stable). I then did a fresh install of 10.10 in an effort to resolve the issue but it persisted.
I've also been experiencing issues with normal video playback. The load of my X301 shoots to 4, 6 and even 8 while top doesn't show anything which suggests why... I think I may have improved the issue by disabling "Visual Effects" and then enabling again, but the fullscreen flash video is still very fiddly (play fulls screen 1 in maybe 5 attempts). -- Can't play flash videos full screen on firefox and google chrome with intel driver and compiz https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/664265 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
