FYI: In an attempt to keep my environment as clean as possible, I've removed the ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates repo, which I'd added earlier in an attempt to fix this issue (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1545846). Since this did not work, I've removed it and reinstalled my nvidia-current driver. So I now have: nvidia-current 195.36.24-0ubuntu1~10.04
