My X has crashed and brought me back to the GDM login screen several times in the past 24 hours. This is a brand new PC from Acer (work bought it for me, shipped to my door), with a fresh install using the Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS ISO that just released. I did update it since the install, but it was only one file, IIRC.
