The version 10.04 of Ubuntu is installed on my Compaq nc6220. When the laptop is closed and re-opened, it stops running properly. Almost every time the keyboard is used, the screen starts flashing (switching on and off), especially when a key is pressed. Then it works properly for half a minute and then again, it starts flashing. This very annoying bug was also present with Ubuntu version 9.
