If you look at the backtrace it's actually just SIGPIPE-ing in FlushClient, which is entirely expected - the both the client and the server are going away, so there'll be a time when one end of the pipe is broken.
The actual crash is a SIGSEGV in DamageUnregister; although we haven't got an actual backtrace from it, that looks like it matches a bug fixed post 1.9RC5, and so should be fixed in the next Xserver release. ** Summary changed: - Xorg crashes in FlushClient when the session finishes + Xorg crashes in DamageUnregister when the session finishes -- Xorg crashes in DamageUnregister when the session finishes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/343694 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
