Hm. Have you tried with loose bindings? 'compiz --replace --loose- bindings'
Also, I'm just making sure, have you also updated nvidia-settings with the graphics driver? I looked and it seems that nvidia-settings doesn't really depend on much so it's possible it may have slipped through. I really don't have much of a clue at this point. Sixpounder's theory sounds pretty good to me (and actually sounds just like bug 439448 to me - I've fixed it myself by delaying Gnome-panel's startup by 3 seconds. See post my post around 205). Thanks for the hard work, Reason. It's been of great help. -- [Lucid] Loading nvidia-settings hurts compiz performance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574069 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-settings in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
