I found the problem. VGA Arbiter: /dev/vga_arbiter. http://www.phoronix.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24396
is where I found the problem description at. What I ended up doing is using the 2.6.31.13-karmic kernel from the mainline ppa archive. This is not a real good solution as it give me errors when it loads, and it loads funny. I had to pull out one card and set everything up so that it worked. I then put in the second card and ran: aticonfig --initial --heads=2 --adapter=all Then set everything up using amdcccle. -- multiple display adapters lockup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550644 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
