As per kurt belgrave's suggestion "Natarajan Can you confirm that you tested this behaviour in the latest development release (Maverick)." Today I have downloaded Ubuntu desktop 10.10 (maverick) , and booted the system through LIVE CD option. Now there is no mouse problem, Monitor is visible in the preferences- monitor section, I am able to change the resolution from the default 800X600 to 1024X768 For your reference, I have captured the problem reporting data and sending with this bug report. Can u suggest, what I can do next?
