Ok, The issue still occurs with the GDK fix disabled. I must note however that the same fix is in place in order for flash to work decently https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flashplugin- nonfree/+bug/410407 and most of the time some flash stuff is running in the back due to an open browser.
Still most cases of occurrence is in eclipse and while using left hand shortkeys (like ctrl+space). I'm still uncertain about the undo effect. Afaik, I need to leave eclipse focus (like going to gedit) and than pressing some combo of ctrl, shift and capslock seems to undo it eventually (maybe tab is involved).
