Running Kubuntu Karmoc I upgraded using the KDE package update to Lucid on x64 (quadcore), Raedon HD3300 on board video. I got the usual no X then removed ATI drovers and it workled OK on the open drovers then I installed catalyst 10-6 and at first it worked OK but the next time I booted it stalled at the login window. Now entering uname and passwd it tried to load kde but fails and reverts to login etc etc etc. I have tried with all ATI Catalyst drivers removed and tried with deb package fglrx-xorg and with all fglrx deb pacakages and ATI drivers removed but cannot get KDE to load. Happy to provide any logs please just advise which ones and where to find them.
