1. whenever I try to start the screensaver, the monitor goes blank and then
white strips are flickering on the monitor. The monitor does not come to normal
desktop behaviour.
I am using UBUNTU 10.04 LTS from today only.
2. When selecting Extra Visual Effects, they are not applied. Hence unable to
get their benefit.
