I confirm the bug with Lucid final release. XServer runs on the VGA output (so the OS is visible only if a monitor is plugged in). I had to use the EDID extracted from windows to have the laptop LCD recognized. I have a Sony VAIO CW2C5E with a nVidia 310M graphics card.
