Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
After installing Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 with the newest updates I noticed
when I attempted opening quadrapassel (gnome tetris) the gui freezes
before it fully loads then slowly the graphics start coming in but in
the end the game in completely unplayable and the gui locks down making
me unable to close the game. I have also noticed when using vlc I will
press pause and the song will pause but the graphic never changes from
the play sign to the pause sign, its as if the gui gets locked. As for
online flash videos every thing seems to work fine. I tried using the
xorg edgers crack pushers ppa to see if it will fix the problem and it
did fully fix all the problems except those drivers cause flash to
freeze on full screen video. I have never had any Intel problems with
Karmic Koala so I know it is something with the lucid driver for the
Intel x3100 gm965 chipset.
