Hi Jean-Baptiste,
I can do that if you can help me out on how to run the memtest as I do
not get to see any grub screen or selections of any sort so I am not
sure what I need to be doing.
When I turn on the pc, just loads up straight to Ubuntu without trouble,
I gather that these tests needs to be done during the booting phase.
Just let me know what I need to do and I am happy to deliver their
outputs.

Bug description:

Started the upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04 LTS
Everything was fine until the installation started processing it.
This is the second attempt as the first one failed to boot at all so I
re-installed 9.10 again then did the whole process.
This error came up during the clean up process.
