What is marked as not to be fixed? What you posted elsewhere was a problem with an old driver, this has not to be fixed by Ubuntu devs because it is no part of Ubuntu yet. Regarding the blog linked by Ricardo #96 the driver works with 64bit. Where is your problem exactly?
