J, McDonald: Just so you know, marking bugs as duplicates is generally a good thing and helps keep bugs manageable. Definitely keep doing what you're doing. It's just that in this case, I have a history with this bug, so I want to work through things here. If this is marked as a duplicate, it gets removed from all the bug lists. It's just a matter of preference and ease for me as I try to work it.
