Thank you for your comment Aaron, do you know if all nvidia-96 users are affected by this issue or if it's specific to some cards? We might want to disable Composite or RenderAccel for those cards or move those users to nouveau on upgrade until the new driver version is available otherwise it seems quite some user will get hit by this when upgrading to lucid...
