Madko, read more carefully, I didn't say this was a cosmetic issue.
There are other issues where X refuses to even start up, or
crashes/locksup during use, and have no obvious way to work around it;
those are serious issues.  This is just a regular severity X bug.
However given the number of people seeing similar issues, most of whom
are using DVI-VGA adapters, that ups the priority on this a bit.
