I've also got this on beta 1, 2.6.32-17, desktop intel P4... Steps to reproduce: log in, open multiple tabs in web browser and system crashes. Keyboard doesn't respond, monitor switches off and I have to reset. Sorry, if this wasn't as helpful or descriptive, will be happy to explain in further detail if asked. Lucid looks awesome!
