After putting X41 to sleep, docking and then resuming with lid closed and
external monitor attached, the external monitor should show a workspace.
Instead, after following the above steps, the display shows only a pointer on
a black background.

Upon opening the lid, the built-in monitor is identical sans a thin strip on
the left edge, which apparently shows that portion of the workspace.
Attempting to switch monitors using Fn+F7 has no effect.
