I haven't seen a Blue Screen in a while, and have been running various versions of ubuntu on several different systems. I also tried your new DRM PPA from comment #13, and this also appears to working w/o Blue screen. Mythtv works well, and Totem is at least not crashing.
But i have other intel-video problems in both karmic, lucid and lucid with the DRM PPA: Reported under Bug #533312. Is it related to this one?
