Unfortunately that's normal behavior for touchpads that aren't wired via
usb or ps2 internally (aka the majority of them that go through the EC).
The only thing you can do really is lower the report rate via the
psmouse module but don't be surprised if you still see ~300
wakeups/second at the lowest usable resolution.
