That's what frustrates me about this bug. Given how common Intel onboard video is, especially in business-class systems, you'd expect the driver for it to be particularly stable---and if there's a problem with it, that it would get fixed quickly. If there were a kernel-panic bug in the Intel NIC driver, how quickly would that get addressed? > Have you seen this response anywhere? Whether or not this bug is fixed on Lucid shouldn't depend on some random Linux guru taking the initiative. Ubuntu is their product; where are they on this? Anyway, for now, are the three freezetestN kernels still in need of testing, or should I move on to the drivers in Brian Rogers' PPA?
