xXPenGuiNxx, sorry for not getting back to you before. It looks like the kernel is an important component to consider for these freezes. Could you do one of the two things (I would prefer the first option, but the second option may be easier for you if you are depending on having a relatively stable system):
1. Upgrade/install Lucid. Then we can verify that the freezes also happen there. A batchbuffer dump from Lucid with xorg-edgers would be great. Possibly also with kernel 2.6.33-rc5, but the standard Lucid kernel should also be okay. Note that if you have space, you may install Lucid on a separate partition and keep using our Karmic partition if something goes wrong with Lucid. 2. Install the latest mainine kernel from [1], (see also [2]). Currently it is v2.6.33-rc5. There may have been fixes in the kernel that stops the freezes. If not, a batchbuffer dump from running with this kernel would be great.
