Same problem here, clean install of Kubuntu Lucid Alpha 2. Nvidia proprietary driver does not install.
I'll attach /var/log/jockey.log for the nvidia driver (I have tried twice). Since modern nvidia hardware will overheat rapidly if used with the nv driver, I would regard this bug as serious. ** Attachment added: "Jockey log file" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/38333104/jockey.log -- package nvidia-current 190.53-0ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/508569 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
