This bug is fixed in Lucid already, with 2.9.1. There are very few commits between 2.9.0 and 2.9.1 the one that fixes this is probably http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel/commit/?h=2.9&id=7ccf084b7a281d8aa877f91401d3df7192da408c
