Problem still present in Ubuntu 9.10 on my Samsung x118 (Synaptics touchpad). But in 1 of 5 system boots two-finger scrolling works fine without cursor jumping. In 4 of 5 cases cursor starts randomly jump on screen when I touch touchpad with two fingers. I try to set synclient JumpyCursorThreshold=100 but it only decrease frequency of cursor trembling. Two-finger scrolling doesn't work in that case.
