I can confirm this bug. Sadly I can also confirm, that luca_ing workaround does not work.
The situation is quiet the same. I have selected a generic PC keyboard with 105 keys, German layout with deactivated accent key. Regular after reboots the layout is resetted to simply German. Diverse keys like backslash and pipe do not work. Even after a reselection of the layout this does not work.
