Binary package hint: compiz
Tested in two computers, one with Intel GM965 and other with NVidia
GM965/GL960, when you enable composite computer got slow if compared to
Jaunty or other distros. Doesn't matter if you are using Compiz (desktop
effects) or if you enable composite in Metacity.
It it not "so" slow but when you compare to other distros or Jaunty you
can see some flicks when using full screen as example. Also, to watch
videos you must disable composite otherwise you can see screen
repainting.
I am using Karmik with latest updates.
