You have been subscribed to a public bug: Binary package hint: udev
System --> Preferences --> Keyboard Shortcuts I think it's the only shortcut key that doesn't work yet I find it very convenient on older versions of GNOME. This regression exists in Ubuntu 9.10 and Debian Squeeze (both GNOME 2.28 at the time of posting). I tested this on Ubuntu i386 and Debian amd64 so, the bug exists in both and it would be great if the changes could be made upstream for all the distros to benefit. Thanks for your time. P.S. I think the package is udev for hotkeys but if it's not please redirect this bug to the appropriate section. Also, the Upstream GNOME and Debian projects seem to have ignored my similar bug reports but I hadn't filed it as udev because I did not know and after reading something here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage, I think I finally found the correct package to file the bug in. ** Affects: udev Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: udev (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: New -- Super user key shortcut does not work (=get captured) when you try to use it in System --> Preferences --> Keyboard Shortcuts https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/483113 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
