On every boot, system starts gdm.service but fails to load graphical
login interface. Instead, black screen with cursor appears, flashes
about 3 or 4 times, then hangs on a black screen with flashing cursor.
>From this screen, I can Ctrl+Alt+F2 into tty2 and login. In order to
load the graphical login screen, I must run `sudo apt purge gdm3`, `sudo
apt install gdm3`, then `sudo systemctl restart gdm.service`. Attempting
to restart gdm.service BEFORE purging and reinstalling gdm3 only sends
me back to the flashing cursor screen. I have tried uncommenting the
line `#WaylandEnable=false` in /etc/gdm3/custom.conf, but this does not
appear to change anything. Also, for every fresh boot, I must repeat
this process.
