Looking at your lspci.txt and the xorg-video-driver you've an ATI GPU in
your system. What you're seeing is a bug in the xserver-xorg-video-ati
when using the XAA acceleration-method. Be sure to switch to EXA (in
xorg.conf). I'm reassigning this to xserver-xorg-video-ati. It's a known
bug and therefore also a duplicate of LP: #429295.
