Thanks for the bug report. I've seen similar issues with some mice over the years and each time for me it was a hardware problem as my mouse wheel had worn out or had manufacturing defects. So please try a different mouse or two...
Please also try uninstalling 'imwheel' (and reboot) to see if that solves the issue. If the problem is still occurring then it sounds like it might be specific to Xwayland apps. So please try logging into 'Ubuntu on Xorg' instead. ** Package changed: libinput (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to libinput in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2015984 Title: Mouse scroll is discarded in specific cases, for specific programs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2015984/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
