@vanvugt (comment from 2022-08-15): I'm using 'Ubuntu on Xorg' with following configuration (see below) in '/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf' with follwing result:
- forward & back buttons work fine - left & right button work fine - 'MiddleEmulation' work fine - but scrolling the page - click and hold button 3 (back) (see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Logitech_Marblemouse_USB) + rolling the ball doesn't work - 'back function' intervenes faster... In the 20.04 all functions worked fine...
