Public bug reported: Hi, I've seen this while looking for NBS and saw intel-opencl-icd holding in the old libigdgmm11
I checked if there was no rebuild, but there was one that would pick up libigdgmm12 but it is an FTBFS https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/intel-compute-runtime/21.32.20609-2 The problem itself seems already a month old (upload/sync time) and someone already tried "just rebuild it" because as of today the last rebuild is 23h old. Therefore someone really needs to check why this is broken and fix it before jammy-release. The same build on Debian worked, so we can't wait/expect to get a fix from there: https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=intel-compute-runtime&arch=amd64&ver=21.32.20609-2&stamp=1645096209&raw=0 It seems the same two tests fail in various setup combinations - a similar pattern of issues repeat: ./opencl/test/unit_test/kernel/kernel_arg_info_tests.cpp:157: Failure Expected equality of these values: 0 result Which is: -12 [ FAILED ][ ICLLP ][ 44265 ] KernelArgInfoTest.GivenParamWhenGettingKernelTypeNameThenCorrectValueIsReturned ./opencl/test/unit_test/kernel/kernel_tests.cpp:423: Failure Value of: pKernelInfo->getArgDescriptorAt(0).isReadOnly() Actual: false Expected: true [ FAILED ][ SKL ][ 44291 ] KernelFromBinaryTests.givenArgumentDeclaredAsConstantWhenKernelIsCreatedThenArgumentIsMarkedAsReadOnly ... [ FAILED ][ ICLLP ][ 44265 ] KernelArgInfoTest.GivenParamWhenGettingKernelTypeNameThenCorrectValueIsReturned [ FAILED ][ ICLLP ][ 44265 ] KernelFromBinaryTests.givenArgumentDeclaredAsConstantWhenKernelIsCreatedThenArgumentIsMarkedAsReadOnl This for now is just an update-excuse bug to better raise awareness. I'll tag it update-excuse and subscribe Timo (Debian uploader of the pkg) as well consider adding a tag to make it seen in the foundations bug checks as well. But I do not (atm) plan to work on a fix. ** Affects: intel-compute-runtime (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: rls-jj-incoming update-excuse ** Tags added: rls-jj-incoming update-excuse -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to intel-compute-runtime in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1965515 Title: FTBFS in jammy (blocks NBS removal of libigdgmm11) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/intel-compute-runtime/+bug/1965515/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
