It's a good question. In my understanding, the Legion R7000 is the name for China of the Legion-5 15ARH05. In the Lenovo forum, the Lenovo employee has no access to the equipment and indicates it's a kernel issue, suggesting it used to work prior to 5.4 kernel. That looks strange.

I tried to google translate it but was not sure of the result to try anything : https://www.cnblogs.com/mikeguan/p/13126497.html -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-libinput in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1887190 Title: MSFT Touchpad not working on Lenovo Legion-5 15ARH05 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1887190/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
