After reboot indeed I was back on a low resolution and without Nvidia graphic driver. A complete uninstall via sudo apt remove nvidia* and afterwards installing the opensource 440 driver via additional driver fixed the issue. That was just like under Windows 95 - reboot into safe mode - remove driver - reboot - install lates driver - reboot -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-430 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1841762 Title: package nvidia-dkms-430 430.40-0ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: installed nvidia-dkms-430 package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-430/+bug/1841762/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
